Sunshine Coast Environmental Education Centre (SCEEC) - Sunday Creek campsite has two student barracks with nine rooms, two teacher cabins, a catering kitchen, ablution block, small library, activities hall, sand court, fire pit, and sports oval.
Our facilities are completely ‘off the grid’ yet offer all the luxuries and comforts of home. We have a stand alone solar powered system for electricity, and harvest our own filtered rainwater for drinking. Our focus on sustainability and environmental awareness allows students to gain an understanding of how we can live sustainably and reduce our environmental impact in the future.
For offsite camps, we offer a fully staffed camp kitchen, tents, and equipment to turn any location into a fully functional school camp site, with many activities to choose from. Rafting, catapults, bushwalks and team challenges are just a few of the activities Sunday Creek campsite can supply for your offsite school camp.
