What to bring

It can get very cold at Sunday Creek at any time of year. It has frosted in December! Be prepared with extra warm clothing and bed clothes. For packing lists according to the camp type, please refer to the information below or find them in the forms and documents section of our website.


Residential camps

Feel free to print out our residential camp packing list (PDF, 96​KB)​ and distribute it to students attending an internal camp.

School leaders and visiting teachers may also like to bring a DVD for movie night, some extra sporting equipment for free time, board games or anything else deemed suitable by the visiting teacher.

Wilderness treks

Students will be supplied with a wilderness trek packing list (PDF, 68KB)​ during their pre-visit.

Trekking equipment supplied by the centre include a heavy duty backpack, sleeping bag, inner sheet, poncho, tent, methylated fuel stove and fuel, water bottles and a three day food pack.

Students only require suitable clothing, footwear, basic toiletries, a torch and lunch for the first day. Please refer to the images below for examples of trekking equipment that students are required to bring.
